Older people come to entrepreneurship in many different ways and for many different reasons – as a rewarding alternative to either retirement or unsatisfactory employment; a means of supplementing inadequate pension and saving provision; or the realisation of a long-held ambition.
The Later Creator programme provides training, guidance and resources to meet the specific needs of later-life entrepreneurs – whatever their journey.
Later Creator is a unique programme for aspiring and new later-life entrepreneurs.
This comprehensive response to the issues and challenges of later-life entrepreneurship is designed to build the knowledge and skills needed to start and run a business AND deal with a range of factors known to limit belief and self-confidence.
The programme is tailored to meet the needs of every participant, to ensure the right mix of pre-incubation (supporting anyone considering or just starting their own business) and business incubation (to help develop the business opportunity) support.
Our Enterprise Guides are typically experienced entrepreneurs who have established and run their own businesses, and can demonstrate the empathy, understanding, patience and enthusiasm needed to help others follow in their footsteps.
If this sounds like you, or you are an established specialist advisor, and able to offer guidance, counselling or support to older entrepreneurs in any of the fields mentioned above (or perhaps subjects we haven’t even looked at yet!), we’d love to hear from you.
