Business support across England is typically provided regionally, within a number of local government or other frameworks.
Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) operate across England, each of which hosts a Growth Hub where information can be obtained about grants and programmes supporting smaller businesses. Links to LEPs are provided below.
In addition, most local authorities have an economic development department, which also provides help and support to businesses. Business centres attached to universities and colleges also run growth programmes or other courses for would-be entrepreneurs.
